KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams recently distributed a study to residents on Lake Tippecanoe, James Lake, Oswego Lake, Syracuse Lake, Lake Wawasee, and Winona Lake highlighting research on each of these lakes throughout history.
The viewbooks feature historical snapshots of each lake, providing information about that lake’s history as well as insights about historical research methods. Each viewbook also includes stories of individuals and families who are working to make the lake cleaner. Additionally, the reports include up-to-date research data on local lakes as well as what to look forward to for that lake and others in the future.
Residents who live on Lake Tippecanoe, James Lake, Oswego Lake, Syracuse Lake, Lake Wawasee, or Winona Lake, should check the mailbox for a copy of this one-of-a-kind story. Don’t live on one of these lakes? Digital versions of these publications are available on the Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams website.
