Indiana Conservation Officers conducted a targeted enforcement detail on the Lake Wawasee sandbar this past Saturday. Officers conducted increased surveillance of the sandbar in various watercraft types to monitor boat traffic for alcohol related offenses.
As a result of the targeted patrol, 13 minors were issued citations for underage drinking. Officers also issued 2 infraction citations for boating violations. Indiana Conservation Officers are dedicated to creating a safe environment for all who enjoy recreating on Indiana’s public waterways.
