Tyce Dechant, son of Shawn and Jess Dechant, tests out a John Deere Gator miniature during Wawasee Boat Company’s Family Fun Event. Father, Shawn, grew up in the area and now brings his family from Arizona every year to visit. The event will continue until 5 p.m.
Wawasee Boat Company is splashing into summer with its yearly free Family Fun Event.
The event began at 9 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m. at the Cornelius Road location in Syracuse.
The Family Fun Event is free to families and offers a splash pad, balloon animals and face painting, kids’ play zone where children can scooter around or test out motorized toys and a T-shirt tye dye area.
